Neighborhood Council Budget Advocate Timeline for the 2011-12 process
In 2011, the Neighborhood Council Budget Advocates took the initiative to meet with various city departments in preparation for the meeting with the Mayor. Departmental heads provided feedback on how the Mayor's upcoming fiscal year's budget will affect their operations as well as suggestions on how to save core services. These recommendations were compiled and presented to the Mayor in the "White Paper" report.
